The Lesson Scheduler displays the selected teacher and pupil’s timetable, along with lesson details and options to navigate through the schedule.

You can schedule:

1) Single Lessons

2) Fixed Lessons

3) Rotating Lessons

A screenshot of the scheduler and its key features are explained below.

The Lesson Scheduler:

Main Sections of the Scheduler:

  1. Grey Filters Bar

Select the teacher and pupil from the dropdown menus.

  2. Lesson Editor Bar (Yellow)

Below the filters, this section shows the details of the lesson you’re about to add.

  3. Timetable View

Below the lesson editor, you’ll see the timetable for the selected week. You can switch between the full week (7 days) or a work week view using the toggle at the top left.

  4. Work Week / Full Week

The timetable shows two columns for each day: the teacher’s events on the left and the pupil’s on the right. This helps you see the pupil’s full schedule and identify any conflicts with their music lessons.

  5. Lesson History

The “Lesson History” toggle at the top right overlays all of the pupil’s music lessons from previous weeks, making it easy to track what they've missed and avoid repeating lessons.

  6. Week Navigation

Use the blue arrows above the timetable to navigate between weeks or manually set the week’s date in the yellow lesson editor bar.

  7. Protected Time Blocks

Red vertical bars indicate any protected time blocks in the schedule. Hover over these bars for more details.

  8. Existing Lessons

Music lessons are shown in purple on the timetable. Lessons for the selected pupil and teacher are slightly bolder, and clicking them opens the lesson editor for editing.
