If you have the SOCS Sport Website Editor then you are able to make changes to the standard SOCS Sport website by doing the following:
- Add your school’s primary colours
- Update the logo/crest
- Adjust the menu position
- Remove menu items
- Add Twitter
- Add or update the slideshow of photographs
Users access the SOCS Sport Website Editor in the SOCS Administrator area.
Only SOCS Sport Main Users with access to SOCS Administrator are able to setup/edit the Website Editor settings.
Adding Primary Colours:
To add or edit the primary colours on your sport website:
Step 1
Login to SOCS administrator
Step 2
Select Sport Website Editor within the Website Branding section
Step 3
Enter the Hex codes for the two colours you wish to include – see screenshot below:
Step 4
Press Save.

Colours should be entered using their 6-digit Hex number including the hash (#) at the beginning. E.g. #123456. We recommend you get your hex colour codes from your school website branding. To save the colours successfully, two valid colours must be entered.
To revert back to the standard SOCS colour scheme leave the colour fields below blank and click save.
The two colours you enter are used on your SOCS websites as containers for white text in links and headings, as well as for text on white backgrounds. We therefore recommend that you do not choose white, or any colours that are too pale.
Adjust the Menu Position
To adjust the menu position on your sport website:

Login to SOCS administrator
Step 2
Select Sport Website Editor within the Website Branding section
Step 3
Select Left or Right using the Menu Position drop down
Step 4
Press Save.

Add X
To include a Twitter/X "tab" on the homepage of your sports website, follow these steps:
Step 1
Login to SOCS Administrator
Step 2
Select Sport Website Editor within the Website Branding section
Step 3
Enter the Twitter Name
Step 4
Press Save.
The Twitter tab will appear in the top left content box on the homepage of your sport website – see screenshot below:

Hide/Remove Menu Items
To hide/remove the menu items from your sports website, follow these steps:
Step 1
Login to SOCS Administrator
Step 2
Select Sport Website Editor within the Website Branding section
Step 3
In the Sports Website Menu Items section, untick the menu items you want to hide – see screenshot below.
Step 4
Press Save.

Removing the menu item does not remove the associated section from the website. Visitors with links saved to favourites will still be able to access them.
SOCS users will still be able to see these menu items when logged in to the SOCS cms.
