Welcome to SOCS Co-curricular! This guide will walk you through everything you need to do to get your clubs and activities up and running.
Follow the steps below in order - each one links to a more detailed help article for that specific part of the setup.
Step 1: Log In
Start by logging into your SOCS account using your login credentials.

Step 2: Check Your Term Dates
Before setting anything up, make sure your term dates are correct - this is an important step as these dates control when your events can be scheduled.

Step 3: Create Your Categories
Categories help you group your clubs (e.g. After School, Sport, Breakfast Club). Depending on your school's setup, there are different approaches to category organisation. We can also advise on the best approach during your first training session.
Step 4: Add Clubs to Each Category
Once your categories are ready, you can start adding your clubs.
Step 5: Schedule Events for Your Clubs
Next, set up the events for each club. These will use your term dates to determine when they take place.
Step 6: Add Staff to Your Clubs
Assign staff members to manage each club. You can add multiple staff if needed.
Step 7: Add Pupils to Your Clubs
You can add pupils to clubs manually or allow pupils (or parents) to sign up to clubs themselves.

Step 8: Set Sign-Up Rules & Open the Sign-Up Window
Once everything is ready, configure your sign-up settings (e.g. who can sign up, limits, dates) and open your sign-up window.
