SOCS Mobile + Live Scores: First Use

Follow these easy steps to get started with SOCS Mobile + Live Scores:

Step 1: Login to SOCS Mobile

• Open your mobile device’s browser and navigate to:
  https://www.socscms.com/socs/mobile
• Log in using your usual SOCS username and password.

Step 2: Add to Home Screen (First-Time Use Only)

• After logging in, you’ll be prompted to add the SOCS Mobile Web App to your home screen for quicker access.
• iPhone/iPad users: Follow the on-screen instructions (other devices may have similar options).
• To stay logged in, make sure to tick the “Remember Me” checkbox.

Step 3: Choose Your Action

• After logging in, you’ll see the welcome screen with two main options:
  1. Upload Results
  2. Live Scores (if your school uses Team Sheet Builder)

Uploading Results:

1. Log in to your mobile SOCS control panel.
2. Select Upload Results.
3. Upload the results for each fixture listed.
4. If you'd like to upload match reports or action shots, you can switch to the full version of SOCS from your mobile.

Using Live Scores:

Step 1: Select a Fixture

• From the Live Scores screen, select a fixture happening today.
• Note: If a fixture doesn’t have a team sheet or isn’t listed, Live Scores will not be available.
• To record a match retrospectively, choose the sport, team, and fixture, then click the Live Scores button.

Step 2: Set Up Live Scoring

• Choose the sport and fixture you want to record live.
• Optionally, you can publish Live Scores or player names to your sports website so supporters can follow the game online.
  
  

Step 3: Start Recording

• Click the Start button to begin recording events as they happen.
  
  

Step 4: Record Events in Real-Time

• As the match progresses, record events like scores, substitutions, etc.
• If your phone goes to sleep or standby during the match, it should reopen with Live Scores in the same place as you left off.
• If you close the web app, simply go back to the day's fixtures and select Live Scores for the same fixture to resume from where you left off. No data will be lost.
